The Sunday tour has become a tradition at SCHUNCK. Every last Sunday of the month visitors can take part in it, and always completely free of charge. The tour is adapted to the exhibition of the moment. In January, February and March, a professional guide takes us through the special history of the Glaspaleis.
Tour in Limburg dialect
In February, the tour will be given entirely in Heerlen dialect, to give the tour of the region an extra local flavour. This is in the context of carnival month, and to mark the start of the new 'Kal Plat' (meaning: speak in dialect) course. This course - consisting of six meetings - teaches students to better understand the dialect of Heerlen and its surroundings, to write and hold a conversation in Limburg dialect.
