Rondleiding Keith Haring Schunck

Free guided tours on Wednesday too

Every last Sunday in the month, SCHUNCK gives free guided tours to current exhibitions, in this case Keith Haring: Grace House Mural. From 22 June onwards, there will now be weekly tours available on Wednesday afternoons.

Because of the popularity of the Sunday tours, it has been decided not only to give an extra tour at a later time on Sunday 26 June, but as from 22 June, free tours will be given every Wednesday afternoon too. These tours will take place on a weekly basis up until the end of the current exhibition at the end of September.

Art is for everyone

The guided tours commence at 3:30 p.m. and last about an hour. A professional guide will show you around the exhibition: there will be a general introduction followed by interesting facts and anecdotes. Feel free to ask any questions! Participation is free of charge: you only need to pay admission to the museum. The city of Heerlen has issued vouchers for those whose budget would not normally stretch to a museum visit. This voucher gives free admission to the museum and a guided tour to a family household. The vouchers are only valid for free admission to the museum on a Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. For all other visitors, free participation in the guided tours is possible once you have paid admission to the museum.

The Wednesday afternoon tours are subsidised by the municipality. SCHUNCK and the city are pleased to join forces and make art accessible to everyone. Just like Keith Haring would have wanted.
