Driver's Seat is looking for members
Driver's Seat is SCHUNCK's youth club. As a member of Driver's Seat you get a look behind the scenes at SCHUNCK, but most of all you get to work with art and everything that comes with it.
Are you creative, self-willed and curious about the world of art and culture? Then you might be the new member of Driver's Seat. You can sign up* now for the new season, which starts on 2 November '22.

What does Driver's Seat do?
Driver's Seat is the youth group of SCHUNCK. The young club of art and culture pioneers creates exhibitions together, gets inspired during excursions, invents and organises cultural activities and gives solicited and unsolicited advice to SCHUNCK. As a member of Driver's Seat, you really have a seat at the table and discover the world of art and culture in the region through SCHUNCK.
How?
The young people of Driver's Seat meet every fortnight on Wednesday evenings at SCHUNCK from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We start a new group every year after the autumn break - this year on 2 November - and work together for the rest of the school year.
Last year was different than usual due to several lockdowns, but that didn't stop the Driver's Seat club. For instance, they proudly presented their own exhibition, which was on display from 1 May. They also gave their own twist to the Keith Haring exhibition. But they are doing much more. Follow Driver's Seat on Instagram to keep an eye on all their activities.
Quirky and creative?
...and are you between 16 and 23 years old? Then we are looking for you for the next edition of Driver's Seat. Would you like to be involved in contemporary art for a year? Then that one Driver's Seat might be yours. You don't have to know much about art, but you do have to like it!
