The many volunteers and employees of SCHUNCK have rolled up their sleeves in the past months. The roof garden is not only beautiful, but also full of vegetables, tubers and other edibles. That requires attention and, well, work.
But that has borne its first literal fruit. Last week, the first onions were harvested, which are distributed among the volunteers. Meanwhile, the tomatoes and courgettes are also harvested daily. This is a few tomatoes at a time, and about 1 or 2 courgettes a week. Miniature strawberries have also already been consumed. The pumpkins still need their time.
Have you already come to see, smell and enjoy the roof garden? You can visit until the end of October.
