ON TOP OF… SCHUNCK
To conclude the Heerlen Rooftop Project (phase 2), part 2 of the closing event will take place at SCHUNCK on Friday 1 September.
Following on from part 1 of the closing event at the end of 2022, we will present part 2 in September. This edition will revolve around regional & Euregional spatial future strategies for Parkstad Limburg. What is needed to properly prepare the Parkstad Limburg region for future challenges, such as climate change, new energy sources, circularity, economy, infrastructure, mobility, landscape and greening of cities, but also welfare and housing? And what opportunities does its geographical location in the Euroregion offer?
In part 2 of the closing event - completing the Heerlen Rooftop Project (phase 2) - we take a look at future strategies of the Parkstad region in the context of the Euroregion. The major cross-border spatial visions and the strategic agreements needed for this will be discussed, but also the regional plans around the above-mentioned themes of Parkstad and our neighbouring countries.
