Rooftop yoga
As part of the Heerlen Rooftop Project, the top deck of the Q-Park car park Putgraaf, Heerlen is being turned into a green oasis. Plant pots full of herbs, vegetables, edible flowers and seating areas will together provide an incredible setting, with panoramic views of Heerlen’s roofscape. SCHUNCK will be offering free yoga lessons from this spot.

The lessons will be a variation of dynamic and static poses. The lesson will concentrate on breathing and movement. Focused movement and focused breathing create peace and space in both body and mind. The lesson will culminate in the Savasana: a relaxation pose. The lesson is suitable for both beginners and advanced yoga practitioners and is given by Christina Klinkers-Cuijpers.
Practical information
The yoga lessons will take place on Friday 15 July and Friday 22 July. Participants should assemble in the foyer of SCHUNCK Glaspaleis at 11:00 a.m. In the event of bad weather, the lesson will take place in the dance studio at SCHUNCK.
Bring a mat and, if necessary, a sweater or blanket and some water. The lesson will be approx. 75 minutes long.
