Kung fu on the roof
The roof of Q-Park Putgraaf has been transformed into a green oasis. Planters full of herbs, vegetables, edible flowers and lovely seats combine to create a special place in, and with a view of, Heerlen's rooftop landscape. In cooperation with Third Line Kung Fu, SCHUNCK offers free kung fu lessons.

Third Line Kung Fu is a martial art mixing classical kung fu and modern martial arts. Because you are consciously working with your body and mind, you learn to take a critical look at yourself. The workshop is suitable for beginners. Make sure to bring a bottle of water and a towel for during the training. The training will be given by Ruben Lie, from the Dutch Third Line Kung Fu Association. Participation is entirely at your own risk.
Practical information
The kung fu classes will take place on Friday 16 and 23 September. Gather at 6:20 p.m. at the Plaarstraat Q-Park Putgraaf entrance.
In bad weather, classes will take place one floor below, in the car park.

The rooftop garden will be open from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. every weekend until 23 October. You will find the rooftop garden on the 7th floor of Q-Park Putgraaf, via the entrance on Plaarstraat.
