Every last Sunday of the month, you can join a Sunday tour. In January, February and March, a professional tour guide will take you through the special history of the Glaspaleis.
The Glaspaleis, the iconic building that houses SCHUNCK, tells the story of the region. The growth of Heerlen, the wealth of the mines, the rise of modernist buildings and the life of the Schunck department store shoppers. But also the closure of the mines and the 'downfall' of Heerlen. The guide tells fun facts and is happy to engage you in conversation.

Participation is free, however, we ask you to register via the ticket link above. On the day of the event, you can present yourself at the desk in the central hall.
