- Do you have a suitcase with a special travel or migration story? Donate it on FENIX's suitcase collection day at SCHUNCK. The Rotterdam-based museum in formation will come to SCHUNCK on Saturday 18 March to collect suitcases.
FENIX is asking for suitcases, lots of suitcases. During the weekends of 11-12 and 18-19 March, the FENIX team will travel the country to collect suitcases. Individuals can go to Almere, Leeuwarden, Heerlen, Eindhoven, Zwolle and Middelburg to donate their suitcases. By donating a suitcase, you help build the collection of the museum in formation in Rotterdam.
With the donated suitcases, FENIX will build a unique suitcase maze, where your donated piece of luggage will have a place. The maze shows what it can mean to pack your suitcase. As a suitcase donor, you will of course stay informed and be invited to be the first to visit the maze in 2024.
