Into town with Keith Haring

In the context of the Keith Haring exhibition, the pupils of De Buitenhof school, varying in age, set to work themselves. With Haring's works as a starting point, they created their own art. For the most part, they used waste material to create these works of art, each of which is an ode to Keith Haring and his ideas.

These special works of art can now be seen throughout the centre of Heerlen

At the desk of the Glaspaleis you can get a free copy of the booklet 'Met Keith Haring de stad in' (or 'Into town with Keith Haring'). Using the route in this Dutch booklet, you can discover all the works the students made, but also many more works of art in the city centre. Do you know, for example, the mural at Schelmenhofje? Or the Zegelboom (Sigillaria tree) on the Promenade? And to make it even more exciting, you will also find various questions and assignments in the booklet that you can do along the way.
