- Do you like being creative, using your imagination and, basically, just messing around with others? We are challenging everyone to create their own artwork from chalk, based on the work of artist Keith Haring.
Just like Keith Haring, on Friday 15 July we will be trying our hand at chalk drawings. His drawings will be our inspiration, only we will be using the town square as our canvas. We’ll bring the chalk, the music and some refreshments. All you have to do is come along and take part. Anyone can join in: just use your imagination and try out a few things you’ve perhaps never done before. Together we’ll set the town alight!
If you can’t make it that day, but you’d still like to try your hand with some chalk, or you simply can’t get enough, take a look at some of the other chalk-drawing activities:
- Hoensbroek edition, 13 July, Gebrookerplein in Hoensbroek, from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m.
- Heerlerheide edition, 16 July, at Corneliusplein in Heerlerheide, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Participation is free and since there are no longer any COVID restrictions, you don’t have to sign up. Just turn up on the day!
